Tapas Trust not only is taking the initiative to create content, it also takes the responsibility of delivering the videos in rural North India.
Tapas trust will be using unused or underused Govt. Schools
DELIVERY
- Digital School will be run by a Command Centre at Chennai which controls the system at site.
- School at the rural location may or may not have Teachers physically present.
- All Students will be registered with NIOS .Year 1 for OBE LEVEL A equivalent to Class 3, Year 2 for OBE LEVEL B equivalent to Class 5, Year 3 for OBE LEVEL C equivalent to Class 8 and Year 4/5 for Secondary equivalent to Class 10.
- Video classes for 5 hours everyday for 210 days a year , holidays will be in line with local state government holidays.
Command Centre at Chennai -CCC
- CCC will be staffed by Admin and Team of Teachers.
- CCC will be equipped with Computers, Internet and will hold the Repository of Video Content.
- CCC will connect to Rural Schools daily and run the classes by playing the recorded videos as per the Sequence.
- CC will monitor the Rural School real time and clarify queries in the Question hour window twice daily.
- CCC will conduct exams every week. Answer sheets will be scanned and electronically sent by Rural School to CCC for evaluation and feedback and through Learning Management System.
- CCC will use Analytics to analyse Student performance and identify focus areas and institute remediation and improve effectiveness of program
- CCC will have a Team of Mentors who will have 1 on 1 with Students monthly and Motivate and Mentor the Students.
- No wastage of time- Digital resources ready and well documented daily/weekly/monthly Plan will be implemented.”
