This program’s design is carved in such a way that it deals with the day-to-day problems of the poor children in rural North India. The program considers the following common problems of the children in rural North India.
English and Data Entry Education
English and use of computers in not well known in rural India which are the keys things. Tapas Trust has come up with a brilliant way of teaching English to students who know only Hindi . The key to master usage of computers is to practice, so Tapas trust has videos on how to use computers and Microsoft word, excel and powerpoint with great perseverance and patience teaching each and every minute detail.
Time after school
Rural children in North India have enough time for school only. After that they get engrossed in their household activities and chores which gives them very little time to practice what they have learnt and to do their homework, so Tapas trust has made it a point that they will make the children practice and do their homework at school only . We give a lecture class of 20 minutes followed by an assignment class of 40 minutes which will help them grasp the concept quicker.
Not having knowledge of their respective classes
Children in rural India having passed class 5, they will not have the knowledge of class 5 hence they would be ineligible to sit in class 6, if they start from the scratch it will take them 10 years to do class 10 which will result in making them write class 10 at the age of 20 or above. Tapas Trust has come up with a condensed course which will enable them to learn class 1 to 10 in just 5 years which will not only make them write their class 10 age of 15, it will also build up their basics. So a girl/boy of age 10 can clear class 10 at the age of 15. We only recommend students from the age of 9 to 12 to join our course as the children need some maturity to sit in video class 6 hrs a day.
